What a 22 oz double-wall cup is for
Two smooth boards and an air gap at 95 by 62 by 165 mm — the biggest cup here, with the flattest print surface. It is specified where a large cup has to look considered rather than merely large.
The insulation works in both directions. For a hot drink it keeps the outside holdable; for an iced or blended one it slows the sweating that makes a single-wall cup soggy and makes a printed design bleed. On a 22 oz cold drink that difference is visible within minutes.
The panel is the largest flat area in the whole cup range, which suits a full photographic wrap or an illustration that runs the whole height. It takes the 95 mm lid, not the 90 mm one. Shake and smoothie bars, cinemas, stadium catering and premium drive-throughs.
At this size it is worth asking whether the insulated wall is needed at all. A 22 oz cup is most often a cold or blended drink, and for those the argument is condensation rather than heat — real, but smaller than the price difference in some cases. If most of your 22 oz drinks are iced, price a single-wall cup with a printed sleeve against this before committing. Where the cup is the premium part of a premium drink the answer is usually still this one, but it should be a decision rather than an assumption.
