What a 12 oz cup sleeve is for
A tapered band for the 12 oz cup, 81.55 mm narrowing to 65.45 mm, 59 mm tall. This is the most ordered sleeve of the range because 12 oz is the most ordered cup, and the two are almost always bought together.
Fifty-nine millimetres is the first height where a sleeve stops being a label and becomes a design surface. There is room for a mark, a strapline and a web address without crowding, or for a pattern that wraps the whole band with no obvious start and finish.
It will not fit a 16 oz cup even though both cups share a 90 mm rim — the sleeve is sized to the wall it grips, not the mouth, so order by cup size. Cafés, bakeries, office catering, event bars and anywhere plain cups need branding fast.
If you print one thing, print this. It is the cheapest way to put a design in a customer hand, and it is the right place to test an identity before committing to a cup run — the same artwork, the same colours, a few hundred units instead of several thousand. Live with it on the counter for a month, then decide whether to move it onto the cup. Because the run is short, a mistake costs a few hundred sleeves rather than a pallet of cups you cannot use.
