What a gift box with a window is for
A glued carton with a round window in the back wall and a tall gable top: a single glue seam closing four walls, a crash-lock bottom that makes itself as the walls come up, and four top panels that lean in until the two large ones meet in a ridge, finished with a half-elliptical tongue folded over.
The gable top makes this a tall, narrow box that stands up and reads as a gift rather than a carton. The round window on the back lets the contents show without spoiling the front face, so you get a clean panel for the brand and an honest view of the product from the other side.
It arrives glued and flat, so it is fast to put up, and the crash-lock base means it can be filled one-handed. Confectionery, candles, bottles, bath products and seasonal gift ranges suit it — anything sold as a present where the box is part of what is being bought.
The tongue that folds over the gable is where a seal belongs. A sticker or a ribbon across it makes the box feel closed rather than merely folded, and for a gift that matters more than the board does. Leave a clear area for it in the artwork — a seal placed over a printed detail looks like an accident, and one placed on a plain band looks intended.
